ABOUT

Hello, I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Carla.  I'm located on beautiful Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley, surrounded by sky hills, lakes, and the ocean, where I was born and raised.

I grew up watching both of my grandmothers pour their hearts into their knitting.  I did my best as a child to mimic them both, but I was mostly just playing around at that point.   I think my favorite thing to do back then was to spin yarn, which my  grandmother Rosina lovingly taught me how to do.

It wasn't until later in life, just after I became a Mom, that I really got into knitting to the point that I couldn't stop.  It was then that I also taught myself how to crochet, and I've been doing both ever since. 

 

I've been selling my wares for the last 9 years mostly locally, both through facebook, and at local craft fairs.   Each item is made with love, through many years of trials and tribulations.  The items you see here are my favorites to make.   One of the long time customer favorites is my children's sleepy owl hats.
